Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of LootWise. Short version: LootWise is a free price-comparison service for game-account listings published by third-party marketplaces. We are not a party to any purchase, we make no promises about third-party listings, and you use the information here at your own judgment.

1. What LootWise is (and is not)
LootWise aggregates publicly available listing data from third-party marketplaces, normalizes it, and ranks it with one versioned scoring formula, the same for every listing (its principles are public; its exact weights are ours). LootWise is not a marketplace: we do not sell accounts, hold inventory, process payments, provide escrow, or handle account credentials. Any transaction you enter happens entirely on the source marketplace under that marketplace's terms.
2. No warranty on listing data
We work hard to keep data fresh (regular crawls, live re-checks, visible “last updated” timestamps), but listings change on the source marketplaces at any time. All information on LootWise — prices, attributes, availability, scores — is provided “as is”, without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose. Always verify the listing on the source marketplace before paying.
3. Third-party transactions and risk
Trading game accounts generally violates the game publisher's end-user license agreement (for Fortnite, Epic's EULA) and can lead to account suspension, bans, or recovery by a prior owner. LootWise does not endorse or vouch for any seller, listing, or marketplace, and a LootWise Score is not a guarantee of a safe transaction. You are solely responsible for evaluating and bearing the risks of any purchase. Our transparency page and safety guide describe these risks in detail.
4. Your account
Searching needs no account. A LootWise account unlocks longer result lists (up to 100 per search), favorites, and saved searches. You can sign in with an email address and a password, or with Google or Discord; when you use Google or Discord, that provider's own terms and privacy policy govern your account with them, and we receive only what our privacy policy lists.
You must be 13 or older to create an account — or older, if the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to an online service yourself. We ask you to confirm your age once, when you sign up.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used to abuse the service (automated scraping of our aggregated data, attempts to breach the gate or rate limits, or unlawful use). You can delete your account at any time from the account page; see the privacy policy for what deletion does.
5. Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to disrupt or overload the service.
- Don't systematically harvest LootWise's aggregated data. (Fair quoting with attribution is welcome.)
- Don't use LootWise to facilitate fraud or misrepresent listings to others.
6. Intellectual property
The LootWise name, mark, design, and original content (guides, scoring methodology text) are ours. Listing data belongs to its respective publishers; game and marketplace names are used nominatively for identification only. If you believe content here infringes your rights, contact hello@lootwise.gg — takedown requests are acknowledged within 5 business days.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LootWise is not liable for any loss arising from transactions with third parties, reliance on listing data, or service interruptions. The service is free; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us to use it — zero.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be dated on this page. Continued use after a change means acceptance. Questions: hello@lootwise.gg.
